What is an OBD Adapter?

An OBD adapter (also called a “vehicle interface adapter”) is an electronic device that allows your head unit to access the vehicle network. It works like a computer modem or gateway by translating messages from one protocol to another.

Compatibility

The OBD adapter works with any Android device (e.g., Android phones or vertical head units).
Note: Horizontal head units are not compatible due to Torque Lite app limitations.
